Real Questions Deserve Real Answers
Most of us carry questions we are not sure we are allowed to ask. How do I read the Bible without getting lost? Why has my prayer gone unanswered for years? How do I set boundaries without being unkind?
On this page you will find our growing collection of answers. We explain the relevant Scripture in its context, tell you where Christians disagree, and suggest practical steps. We will not promise easy outcomes, and we will not pretend every question has a simple answer.

Before You Ask
Is it okay for a Christian to have doubts?
Yes. Many people in the Bible brought honest doubts and questions to God, and the Psalms are full of them. Doubt does not automatically mean your faith has failed. It can be a reason to look deeper, talk with trusted people, and keep reading Scripture.
Do I need to understand everything in the Bible to follow Jesus?
No. Christians throughout history have disagreed about some passages and admitted that parts of Scripture are hard. It helps to start with what is clear, keep learning, and be patient with what is not.
Is "God helps those who help themselves" in the Bible?
No. This saying is not found in Scripture, and it can be misleading because it suggests we earn God's help. The Bible does encourage wise, responsible action, but it presents God's help as grace, not a reward for effort.
What if Christians disagree about the answer?
We will say so. Where faithful Christians hold different views, we try to explain the main positions fairly and separate what Scripture clearly teaches from personal or denominational interpretation.
